According to Rotoworld, there is a sense apparently that the Mets can get a deal done with Bengie Molina before they leave the Winter Meetings. Hold onto your applause. I can hardly stay in my seat. I really feel that these over priced bottom dwellers suck off millions from payroll and we are left trying to decide whether John Lackey is more important or if Matt Holliday should get the one contract this off season. Is a catching core of Josh Thole, Omir Santos, and Henry Blanco horrible? No, it's not great, but catching for the most part sucks league-wide. Save the $6-12 million and use it for mid level starters or towards a big contract.
This team makes me want to scream sometimes. I do not get who is making the money decisions. They don't seem to have any real understanding of how to appropriate funds.
