A couple of days ago I thought about writing a piece about how I thought Keith Hernandez was deserving of the Hall of Fame. I started researching, watched some old game video I accidently ran across, and began formulating my work. Thank god it took me longer than I expected, because in the mean time, Marty Noble at Mets.com wrote a brilliant (much better than mine would have been) article on the exact subject.
I won't go through it all, but he makes some strong arguments, great comparisons to current HOFers and raises some good questions. I consider it a must read for Met fans. Great Job Marty, as always.
