Wally Backman to manage the Brooklyn Cyclones

Mike Silva is reporting that the popular Wally Backman has been given the manager job of the Brooklyn Cyclones.  This is great for Backman, the Mets, and all 1986 Mets' fans.  I loved Backman as a player and have read numerous reports, interviews, and articles that all point to him being great with his players that he manages.  Also, he has had success everywhere he has managed.  I look forward to watching him, hopefully, progress through the system.  Good Luck Wally.
